Rose-Mharie Åhlfeldt is an assistant professor in information technology at the University of Skövde. She educates and does research in information security and health informatics and, in addition to academic courses, also holds commissioned training for companies and the public sector. Her research focuses on the development and evaluation of methods and tools for systematic information security work, secure and efficient information management in health care as well as privacy-related issues. She is also the coordinator for the collaborating platform PICS (Privacy, Information Security and Cyber Security at the University of Skövde. In addition to leading and implementing research projects within the academy, she also participates in the Swedish standardization work on the ISO/IEC 27000 family via SIS TK318. She is a participant in the Region of Västra Götaland’s Digitalization Council. Rose-Mharie has also participated in the working group to develop new methodological support for systematic information security work at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. She has been a member of the board of the Forum for Data Protection since 2015.
