Pille Lehis is the Director General of the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, leading the national authority since 2019. She represents Estonia in the European Data Protection Board and the Council of Europe’s Convention 108 committee. With a background in litigation at the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, she brings strong legal and strategic expertise to data protection. Pille is a passionate advocate of Estonia’s digital society and promotes internationally the idea that innovative digital services and strong data protection can go hand in hand.
