Øyvind is an experienced lawyer with expertise in privacy and data protection, IT and technology, and intellectual property. His experience in advising on privacy and data protection includes all aspects of GDPR compliance, including strategic advice, risk assessments, managing GDPR compliance projects, drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, and assisting in transfer impact assessments for the transfer of personal data outside of the EEA, etc.

Øyvind is specialized in advising on all kinds of tech-related contacts. His assistance includes all phases of a contractual relationship, from strategic advice, reviewing and drafting contracts, leading contract negotiations, to assisting in transactions and dispute resolution. He has comprehensive knowledge of all the usual contract types within the area of technology, including license agreements, cloud service agreements (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), distribution, outsourcing, use of AI, open source etc.

Øyvind has for several years been chairman of the Norwegian Computer Association’s specialist group for Cloud Computing. He is a reputable legal adviser within the tech area and is regularly used as a lecturer in various forums.
