Mr Fredrik Sand is a Public Affairs Expert at TechSverige, the national trade association for tech and telecom companies in Sweden. His responsibilities are public policy issues, including EU files, in a number of areas such as privacy, information and cyber security, data driven innovation, and more.

Before joining TechSverige he has worked for other business interest organizations: the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) on policy for higher education and research and for the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in various policy fields, including digitization, infrastructure, and transportation.

Before joining the Chamber, Mr Sand was a civil servant. Working for the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy, and Communications for nine years, he also had assignments in London and at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo.

Educated at the University of Stockholm and Sheffield University (UK), he holds a Master’s degree in Political Science.
